Where your store’s DNS is
- Domain bought elsewhere (Registro.br, Hostinger, GoDaddy, HostGator...): the most common case. For the store, Nuvemshop asks for an A record and a
wwwCNAME in that provider’s panel, and the DNS stays there. mxproxy’s records go in the same panel. - Domain bought through Nuvemshop (in its domain settings): the DNS is managed by Nuvemshop and cannot be edited in the panel. Ask its support to create the MX and TXT records in the table below.
Step by step
- Add the domain to mxproxy. Create the account, add the store’s domain and keep the page with the DNS records open.
- Create the records at the domain’s provider. In the panel that has the store’s A and CNAME, create the records in the table below. Do not touch the A or the
wwwCNAME Nuvemshop asked for: they lead to the store, and email does not depend on them. Delete old MX records, if any. - Merge the SPF. If a
v=spf1TXT already exists (Nuvemshop’s help example for business email usesinclude:amazonses.com), do not create another: addinclude:spf.mxproxy.devto it, for examplev=spf1 include:spf.mxproxy.dev include:amazonses.com ~all. - Check and create the addresses. Click Verify now in the mxproxy dashboard and create
hello@,support@and the rest, each with whoever should receive it, or turn on the catch-all.

Reply as the store
For customers to see hello@yourstore.com on the reply, create an SMTP credential at mxproxy (from Personal up) and add the address in Gmail under Send mail as: see Reply from your domain. The store’s automatic emails keep going out through Nuvemshop.
