A ForwardMX alternative

ForwardMX is a serious, long-running email forwarder, and mxproxy follows the same model: you point the MX, choose where each address goes and send through SMTP. The differences are the free plan, the language and the currency.

What ForwardMX does better

  • An optional mailbox, for those who want to keep email at the service.
  • Unlimited team members on every paid plan.
  • Years of operation, with thousands of domains served.

Where mxproxy is different

  • A free plan to start with, no card.
  • Dashboard, guides and support in Portuguese, and prices in reais for Brazil.
  • A log of every message for 30 days, with its delivery status.
  • A Telegram or webhook alert when email reaches an address.

Moving to mxproxy

Recreate the addresses (the dashboard imports a list), replace the MX and SPF with the ones the dashboard shows and check with the checker. Keep the old account until DNS propagates. Each DNS provider’s step by step is in Guides.

Get your domain’s email in Gmail

Create the free account, add the domain and copy the records from the dashboard. The free plan covers one domain with a catch-all; replying as the domain comes with the paid plans.
