In short
- Only want to receive, for free, and get a lot of email? ImprovMX’s free plan is much more generous than ours (500 forwards a day against 10 messages a month).
- Want to reply as the domain on the entry plan, or work in Portuguese? That is what mxproxy is built for.

What ImprovMX does better
- A free plan with much more volume for receiving only.
- Regex and rule-based routing, and a wider API (it includes logs and sending by API).
- Years on the market and a large user base.
Where mxproxy is different
- Dashboard, docs and support in Portuguese, with Brazil as the main audience.
- Prices in reais for visitors from Brazil, billed by Stripe.
- SMTP with DKIM already on the entry paid plan, to reply as
hello@from Gmail or Outlook. - A Telegram or webhook alert when email reaches an address.
- A spam filter with an adjustable level per domain, and SRS and ARC when forwarding.
Moving from ImprovMX to mxproxy
Recreate the addresses at mxproxy (the dashboard imports a list), replace ImprovMX’s MX and SPF include with ours and wait for DNS to propagate. During the switch some email may still go through ImprovMX: keep the account there until the checker shows only our MX. Each provider’s DNS, step by step, is in Guides.
